Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public access to many court records, with limits for confidential, sealed, juvenile, mental health, protection-order, and other restricted material. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. In Jefferson County, the Clerk administers official trial-court records for the Circuit and Superior Courts at the courthouse in Madison. The Sheriff manages jail and law-enforcement records, while statewide tools such as MyCase and the Trial Court Calendar show public case information and hearing schedules.
